This EP began quietly, shaped by a series of moments that lingered rather than announced themselves.
After returning home from six weeks away, I found myself drawn to the stillness of the trees around where I live. One evening, watching the fading light filter through them, and later walking among them while listening to a cinematic DJ set, these familiar surroundings began to feel transformed — like a private, ever-shifting space for reflection and sound.
Another track arrived unexpectedly during an improvisation at the piano, immediately pulling me back to distant places and memories: an abandoned railway, a cold morning in Wales, and vast imagined landscapes stretching across North America. Part memory, part imagination, part dream. The trees remained a constant thread throughout, offering perspective during a period of uncertainty. This EP is a collection of those moments — real and imagined — captured in music.
